ChariTree Holiday Festival

Due to lack of funds, not being able to guarantee Christmas trees, and other circumstances beyond our control, ChariTree Board has decided to cancel the December 3, 2022 ChariTree Holiday Festival.

Plans are being made for 2023 December festival. If you would like to support or volunteer for next year, please email charitreeholidayfestival@yahoo.com

Mission Statement : ChariTree is a non-profit committee of the Brookings Area Council for the Arts that brings awareness of local non-profits and helps them to fundraise for their activities all while the community enjoys a holiday festival of trees.

Free family Christmas event Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Chetco Grange 11am – 4pm 

Features 16 non-profit decorated Christmas trees and wreaths or items for silent auction. Public votes for their favorite tree! Holiday Shopping! Kids coloring workshop! Many Raffle Prizes! Lunch available for purchase by the Chetco Grange.

ChariTree Holiday Festival door opens 11am, bidding ends 3:45pm (live trees decorated on floor and stage)

Coloring Workshop for Kids 11am – 2pm

Wrap Trees and Clean-Up 4pm – 5pm (ChariTree will provide and set-up the tree bag under the stand.)

Silent Auctions and Raffle Prizes! All festival trees are decorated for or by a local nonprofit. The public votes for their favorite tree, winner receives $35 award. Lunch will be provided by the Chetco Grange and proceeds benefits the community center.

2021 ChariTree Holiday Festival Applications

  • Event Tree application due by September 30.

This year, 16 live trees will be planned to be decorated by or for a charity on the floor and stage at the Chetco Grange. Open to Non-Profits : Adult Groups  and Youth Groups (school students, age 18 and younger). $40 entry fee for tree, stand, and bag.

  • Sponsorship application due by October 31. We encourage you to obtain support for your tree. Sponsor may pay for tree entry fee of $40 and/or provide ornaments/items/gift certificates. Your group may have more than one sponsor.
